2. Meninggal dengan keringat di dahi, berdasar hadits Ibnu Buraidah bin Hashib sebagai berikut ;
عَنِ ابْنِ بُرَيْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّه
كَانَ
بِخُرَاسَانَ فَعَادَ أَخًا لَهُ وَهُوَ مَرِيضٌ فَوَجَدَهُ بِالْمَوْتِ
وَإِذَا هُوَ يَعْرَقُ جَبِينُهُ فَقَالَ اللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ سَمِعْتُ
رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ مَوْتُ
الْمُؤْمِنِ بِعَرَقِ الْجَبِينِ
“Dari Ibnu Buraidah dari ayahnya
bahwa ia berada di Khurasan, ia menjenguk saudaranya yang sakit, ia
menemuinya tengah sekarat dan dahinya berkeringat, ia berkata: Allaahu
Akbar, aku mendengar Rasulullah shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam bersabda:
“Orang mu`min meninggal dunia dengan (mengeluarkan) keringat didahinya.”
(HR. Ahmad)
3. Mati pada malam Jum’at atau di siang hari Jum’at, berdasarkan sabda Nabi Shallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam;
مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَمُوتُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَوْ لَيْلَةَ الْجُمُعَةِ إِلَّا وَقَاهُ اللَّهُ فِتْنَةَ الْقَبْرِ
“Tidaklah
seorang muslim meninggal dunia di hari Jum’at atau pada malam Jum’at
kecuali Allah akan menjaganya dari fitnah kubur.” (HR. Ahmad dan
Tirmidzi)
4. Orang yang meninggal karena tho’un (penyakit wabah atau sampar). Rasulullah Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wassallam bersabda;
الطَّاعُوْن ُشهَاَدَةٌ لِكُلِّ مُسْلِمٍ
5. Orang yang meninggal karena sakit perut, atau penyakit yang berhubungan dengan perut seperti; maag, kanker, usus buntu, kolera, disentri, bat ginjal dan lain sebagainya.
وَمَنْ مَاتَ فِي الْبَطْنِ فَهُوَ شَهِيْدٌ
“Barangsiapa yang mati karena sakit perut maka dia adalah syahid.” (HR. Muslim)
6. Orang yang meninggal karena tenggelam, karena kejatuhan bangunan atau tebing. Abu Hurairah meriwayatkan bahwa Rasulullah Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wassallam bersabda;
الشُّهَدَاءُ خَمْسَةٌ الْمَطْعُونُ وَالْمَبْطُونُ وَالْغَرِقُ وَصَاحِبُ الْهَدْمِ وَالشَّهِيدُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ
“Orang yang mati syahid itu ada lima; orang yang meninggal karena penyakit tha’un, sakit perut, tenggelam, orang yang kejatuhan (bangunan atau tebing) dan meninggal di jalan Allah.” (HR. Bukhari)
7. Orang yang meninggal dalam suatu urusan di jalan Allah (Sabilillah) .
Seperti seseorang yang meninggal dalam perjalanan dakwah atau meninggal sewaktu mengajar ilmu agama atau ketika melakukan amal kebajikan kepada sesama yang diniatkan ikhlas karena Allah, sebagaimana dijelaskan dalam hadits riwayat Bukhari diatas.
Fisabilillah adalah berjuang di jalan Allah juga dalam pengertian luas sesuai dengan yang ditetapkan oleh para ulama.
8. Seorang wanita yang meninggal karena melahirkan anaknya. Rasulullah Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wassallam bersabda;
قَتْلُ الْمُسْلِمِ شَهَادَةٌ وَالطَّاعُونُ شَهَادَةٌ وَالْبَطْنُ وَالْغَرَقُ وَالْمَرْأَةُ يَقْتُلُهَا وَلَدُهَا جَمْعَاءَ
“Terbunuhnya seorang muslim terhitung syahid, kematian karena wabah thaun terhitung syahid, kematian karena sakit perut terhitung syahid, kematian karena tenggelam terhitung syahid dan seorang wanita yang mati karena melahirkan anaknya terhitung syahid.” (HR. Ahmad)
9. Seseorang yang terbunuh karena mempertahankan hartanya atau kehormatannya. Abu Hurairah RA meriwayatkan;
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ” أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ جَاءَ رَجُلٌ يُرِيدُ أَخْذَ مَالِي قَالَ : فَلَا تُعْطِهِ مَالَكَ قَالَ : أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قَاتَلَنِي قَالَ : قَاتِلْهُ قَالَ : أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قَتَلَنِي قَالَ : فَأَنْتَ شَهِيدٌ قَالَ : أَرَأَيْتَ إِنْ قَتَلْتُهُ قَالَ : هُوَ فِي النَّارِ “
Datang seorang laki-laki kepada Rasulullah Shallallohu ‘alaihi wasallam dan bertanya; “Wahai Rasulullah, bagaimana kalau ada seseorang yang hendak mengambil hartaku?” Beliau bersabda, “Jangan engkau berikan hartamu!” Bagaimana kalau ia melawanku?” Beliau bersabda; “Lawanlah dia!”, “Bagaimana kalau dia membunuhku?” Beliau bersabda; “Engkau syahid”, “Bagaimana kalau aku yang membunuhnya?” Beliau bersabda; “Dia di neraka!.” (HR. Muslim)
مَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ مَالِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ دِينِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ دَمِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ وَمَنْ قُتِلَ دُونَ أَهْلِهِ فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ
“Barangsiapa yang terbunuh karena mempertahankan hartanya maka dia syahid, barangsiapa yang terbunuh karena memeprtahankan agamanya maka dia syahid, barangsiapa yang terbunuh karena mempertahankan nyawanya maka dia syahid dan barangsiapa yang terbunuh karena memeprtahankan keluarganya maka dia syahid.” (HR. Tirmidzi)
10. Orang yang meninggal dalam keadaan mengerjakan kebaikan atau amal sholeh.
Seperti seseorang yang meninggal dalam keadaan sholat, melaksanakan ibadah haji, bersilaturahmi dan sebagainya. Rasulullah Shalallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam bersabda;
مَنْ قَالَ : لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ ابتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللَّهِ ، خُتِمَ لَهُ بهَا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ، وَمَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا ابتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللَّهِ خُتِمَ لَهُ بهَا ، دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ، وَمَنْ تَصَدَّقَ بصَدَقَةٍ ابتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ اللَّهِ خُتِمَ لَهُ بهَا ، دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ “
“Barangsiapa yang meninggal ketika mengucap ‘Laa ilaaha illallah’ ikhlas karena maka dia masuk
Surga, barangsiapa yang berpuasa pada suatu hari kemudian meninggal maka dia masuk Surga, dan barangsiapa yang bersedekah ikhlas karena Allah kemudian dia meninggal maka dia masuk Surga.” (HR. Ahmad).
